Prayer Request Methods
Overview
There are many ways Marble Church prays for congregants and special needs:
Online prayer devotional times - See TeamUp Schedule or Marblechurch.org calendar
Prayers spoken from the Pulpit on Sundays
Prayers announced in our weekly, Prayer Circle, usually held Sundays at 10am in the Chapel and on zoom.
One-on-One pastoral visits to hospitals, homes or via telephone and zoom by ministers, elders and deacons
Stephen Ministry, which is a one on one resource made up of trained lay persons assigned and dedicated to a congregant for up to a year. They generally connect with that person weekly in some format. Ongoing training and support for this program happens regularly. It is head by Rev. Susanah Wade and Judy Tulin.
Care-Line, which is a telephone line folks can call for one on one prayer and lay led support.
Weekdays
Send calls for Prayer Requests to Judy Tulin x 405. Judy maintains the weekly Pulpit Prayer List and emails it to ministers weekly. She also prints slips with names for the Prayer Circle basket, which is used to draw from during the Prayer Circle Service each Sunday (either online or in the Chapel in the lower concourse level.

Weekend
Reception accepts all Prayer Requests and communicates to callers that requests will be given to ministers. Ministers will do their very best to include requests in the Sunday Pulpit prayers. Any requests not included the current Sunday will be included in the following Sunday.
Sunday
Reception writes down the Prayer Requests and places them in envelopes designated for Prayer Circle or Pulpit Prayer. (Note: some requests go in both envelopes.) On Sunday by 9:30am, Reception gives the Prayer Circle envelope to the Prayer Circle Leader.
