Policy Regarding Walk-ins

Receptionist - If the person comes in without an appointment:

Ask if they are a member of Marble Church.

If so, a minister will come down for a conference.

If not, ask the nature of the business, and explain that the church does not give

money, food or clothing (or diapers/formula)

If the request is for counseling, a minister will come down or schedule a later

appointment.

If the request is for specific information (e.g locations for shelter, food or

clothing), give that information on half-sheet of local services.

If a letter of referral (or phone call) is necessary, ask the minister to provide it.

Your responsibility is to accomodate visitors to Marble Church in a helpful, friendly way.

Visitors to various tenants in the building should be referred to the location involved.
